Bruce Snyder is a self-taught amateur photographer who lives with his wife, Melanie (a writer),
in Pennsylvania. Bruce and Melanie have collaborated on published projects, several of which
are published on Melanie's website.
In the work-a-day world, Bruce is a partner and Vice President of Digital Payment Services,
which markets under the name Payment Logistics. Prior to co-founding DPS, he was Chief
Financial Officer for Musictoday LLC, a Business Controller for New Holland, Inc. (now CNH
Global) and a financial analyst for IBM Corporation.
Bruce purchased his first 35mm SLR when he began travelling overseas, capturing images
while on business trips. A multi-year relocation to London followed and allowed him to explore
Europe with both family and camera. Following seven years of living, working and
photographing in the central Virginia community of Charlottesville, Bruce and family relocated
back to their home state of Pennsylvania in 2005. They now live -- and plan to stay -- in the
Lancaster County community of Elizabethtown.
Bruce holds degrees from Bloomsburg University (B.S., Business) and Penn State University
(MBA, Finance). He likes to read history books, collect old cameras and dabble in cooking
(especially Southwestern Cuisine).
